Custom Learning Designs (CLD)
Tom Amari has a diverse work experience in the technology and learning fields. Tom began their career at Bitstream Inc. in 1988, where they worked as a Principal Software Engineer for ten years. In 1998, Tom joined Art Technology Group as a Training Manager and stayed with the company until 2002. Since 2003, they have been working at Custom Learning Designs as a Senior Director of Learning Technologies.
Tom Amari completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Boston University from 1980 to 1984. Tom then pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they completed their Master of Science degree in the field of Media Lab from 1985 to 1987.
