Jaafar Rizvi

Jaafar Rizvi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jaafar started their professional career as a Field Organizer with Green Corps in 2009. Jaafar then joined the California Public Interest Research Group as a Field Organizer and later became a Transportation Associate. In 2011, Jaafar joined Miro for Mayor as a Field Director and also served as a Transition Team Member. Jaafar then worked at The Glover Park Group as an Associate in the Energy + Sustainability department. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Associate at CustomerFirst Renewables. During the same year, they also became an Entrepreneurial Lead at Algal Evolution Technologies. Jaafar joined Coho Climate Advisors in 2016, initially as an Associate and later progressed to roles such as Engagement Manager, Senior Engagement Manager, and Director of Client Service. Currently, they are serving as a Partner & Vice President, Client Solutions at Coho Climate Advisors. Overall, Jaafar has gained a wide range of experience in various positions within the environmental and sustainability sectors.

Jaafar Rizvi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Wesleyan University in the years 2005 to 2009. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree, specializing in Finance, Business Analytics, and Change Management, from NYU Stern School of Business between 2014 and 2016.
