Barbara Clemenhagen is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Consultant for Customized Energy Solutions since July 2013, focusing on Market Intelligence across Canada, the USA, and Mexico. In addition, Barbara holds the position of Director of Regulatory Affairs for ERCOT with the Gulf Coast Power Association since January 2021, and also contributes as a board member for March of Dimes and Chief, an organization dedicated to empowering women in leadership. With extensive experience in regulatory advocacy, market design, and project finance, Barbara has held various leadership roles including President of Texas Competitive Power Advocates, Vice President of Regulatory & External Relations at Topaz Power, and Director of Regulatory Affairs at Sempra Energy. Barbara earned a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business from the University of Victoria and an MBA in International Economics from Nanzan University.
