Nicolas Collart has a diverse work experience in customs, compliance, sustainability, and tax management. Nicolas is currently working as the International Customs, Compliance, and Sustainability Director at Customs Support since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Global Customs and Excise Manager at JTI from April 2019 to April 2021, and as an Indirect Tax Manager from April 2016 to March 2019. Before joining JTI, Nicolas worked as an Indirect Tax Manager at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. from December 2013 to March 2016. Nicolas also gained experience at Deloitte Belgium, where they served as a Senior Indirect Tax Consultant from September 2013 to November 2013, and as an Indirect Tax Consultant from September 2010 to August 2013. Additionally, Nicolas worked as an External Consultant at Editions Atlas for a brief period in 2012, and had a student job experience at Bureau Darville in 2009.
Nicolas Collart's education history is as follows. In 2009, they attended the Waterford Institute of Technology for a short period as part of an Erasmus program, studying Business Engineering. From 2007 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree at UC Leuven-Limburg, specializing in Commercial Science with a focus on Accountancy and Tax. In 2011, they furthered their education at UC Leuven-Limburg, obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Taxation. Finally, in 2017, they enrolled in EFS, Erasmus University Rotterdam, to pursue a Post-Master degree in EU Customs Law.
