Pieter Haesaert

Pieter Haesaert has extensive experience in customs and trade compliance. Pieter began their career in 1998 as a Senior Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. In 2003, they moved to Deloitte as a Senior Manager. In 2004, they founded and became a shareholder of customs4trade, where they also served as Board Member and Chief Executive Officer. At customs4trade, they developed CAS, a software solution that automates customs and trade compliance.

Pieter Haesaert began their education in 1988 at KU Leuven, where they studied Law until 1991. Pieter then attended Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen - Vlaamse Autonome Hogeschool between 1988 and 1995, where they studied economics. In 1995, they enrolled at Fiscale Hogeschool, where they studied Tax until 1997. Pieter also attended Sint-Jozefsinstituut Torhout, though it is unclear what they studied there. In November 1997, they obtained a Recognized Tax Consultant IAB/CFE certification from the CFE - Confédération Fiscale Européenne.
