Daniela Marino

Daniela Marino has an extensive work experience in the field of regenerative medicine, skin tissue engineering, and biotechnology. Daniela is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Cutiss AG, a Swiss clinical-stage life sciences company focused on providing innovative solutions in regenerative medicine. Prior to joining Cutiss AG, Daniela worked at Wyss Zurich as a Project Co-leader and Business Developer for the denovoSkin project. Daniela also served as a Business Mentor at Swiss Start up Factory AG. Earlier in their career, Daniela worked at the Tissue Biology Research Unit, Department of Surgery, University Children's Hospital Zurich, where they served as a Project Manager and Business Developer. Daniela also worked as a PostDoc and EU Project Manager at the same institution, where they managed the FP7 Consortium EuroSkinGraft and conducted research on the vascularization of engineered skin substitutes. Daniela has also served as a Speaker at the BioBusiness course at USI Lugano and obtained their Doctor of Sciences degree from ETH Zurich. Daniela holds a Master in Biotechnology from the University of Milan.

Daniela Marino began their education at the University of Milan in 2000 and completed their Master's degree in Biotechnology in 2005. Following this, they went on to pursue a PhD at ETH Zurich from 2005 to 2009. Their doctoral research focused on Vascular Biology, Stem Cells, Skin, and Pharmacology.
