Kathy Hoy McDermott

Kathy Hoy McDermott has extensive experience in the financial industry, primarily in business analysis and project management roles. Kathy started their career at PORTIA, Thomson Financial Services, where they worked as an Implementation Project Manager and later as an Account Manager for the Asia Pacific region. After that, they worked at LongView as a Senior Account Manager and later as a Product Manager for electronic trading. Following this, they joined Wellington Management as a Senior Business Analyst, where they were responsible for equity and mortgage trading business requirements. Kathy then moved to NTGI, Northern Trust, where they gathered and wrote business requirements for data transfer from the Eagle accounting system. McDermott also worked at Wellington Management Company as a Senior Business Analyst, overseeing the development of a proprietary trade order management system. Kathy then joined William Blair as a Senior Business Analyst, where they were responsible for business analysis and testing for moving mortgage trading onto Moxy. Kathy'smost recent role was at Northern Trust, where they worked as a Senior Business Analyst, researching and writing business requirements for outsourcing of client accounting and performance reports. Currently, McDermott holds the position of Managing Director at Cutter Associates, specifically in the CutterResearch division.

Kathy Hoy McDermott obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics from Hamilton College. In addition, they received a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
