Cutting Edge Counsel focuses on companies that care about social, environmental and corporate responsibility as much as they care about making profit.

Because we are lawyers that have worked in and started businesses, we understand the practical side of what it takes to make a business a success, and we make the sustainability of our clients our top priority. Having been clients ourselves, we understand the need for high quality yet cost effective service, and we focus on measurable results that contribute to your success. Our success is measured by the trust and confidence of our clients.

Our attorneys bring a diverse range of experiences and skills – entrepreneurs, general counsels, traditional law firm partners, as well as educators and community developers. Our clients receive a partner level handling of each and every matter. While large corporate firms provided lawyers in our group with world-class training, each of us have left those kinds of institutions to work in an environment that provides a human, sustainable approach to earning a living, and living in our world.

In addition to providing the traditional legal services that every business needs, we partner with our clients to improve their business development, corporate responsibility, and environmental sustainability. We offer services at a deep discount - compared to traditional firm prices - to businesses that understand the importance of of a triple-bottom-line approach. We also offer our services to non-profits and foundations, and believe that sound for-profit business practices are vital for the functioning and sustainability in the non-profit world.

We are committed to the concept of keeping our overhead and our fees low, while providing excellent service and maintaining clients for the long term. This means that our clients receive exceptional representation at minimal expense.
