Melanie Knowles

Melanie Knowles currently serves as the Sustainability Director for Cuyahoga County and as Adjunct Faculty at Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Previously, Melanie held the position of Sustainability Manager at Kent State University for over 15 years and briefly at Doty & Miller Architects, where the focus was on the LEED process and green building initiatives. Additionally, Melanie worked at the Cleveland Green Building Coalition in various capacities, including Interim Executive Director and Director of Education. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Project Director for the City of Cleveland. Melanie holds a Master of Environmental Science from Miami University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University.
