Edwin Oliveras

Edwin Oliveras, Director of Purchasing of CMHA, brings over 40 years of Supply Chain knowledge to his team. Oliveras provides the Purchasing Department with support to internal departments in the acquisition and solicitation of all goods and services in accordance with established Federal, State and Local procurement rules and regulations and the administration of Section 3 and Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) contracting programs.

Prior to his promotion to Director of Purchasing, Oliveras was the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority Director of Purchasing from 2009–2016 and the Contract Officer for the Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority from 2016-2021. Oliveras has held positions for Union Carbide and Johnson Controls.

Oliveras received his lifetime certification as a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) from the Institute for Supply Management, Inc. in 2007. He is a graduate of the 2012 Cleveland State University’s Leadership Academy Cohort XXI.
