Sara Huang

VP, Creative at Cuyana

Sara Huang is currently the VP of Creative at Cuyana, but their impressive career started at Suburbia Agency as a freelance designer. From there, they moved to Pop Magazine where they worked as a designer for about a year. After Pop Magazine, Sara became an Art Director at AR New York, where they worked on projects for Banana Republic Fragrance, Beyonce, Brioni, Flair Magazine, Burberry Blue Label, and Related Properties. After three years at AR New York, Sara moved to Base Design, where they served as Art Director for Kanye West, Milk Studios, Hotel Missoni, Kiki de Montparnasse, Pantone, Phillips de Pury, Gagosian, Rizzoli, Big Magazine, and Project Tradeshow. In October 2011, Sara became the Creative Director at LLOYD & CO., where they worked on projects for Calvin Klein, The Row, Narciso Rodriguez Fragrances, Estee Lauder, Y3, Adidas Pharrell Williams, Movado, Pepsi Co., LifeWTR, BPI, Coty, Nine West, and Ippolita. Sara has been with Cuyana since June 2017 and in their current role as VP of Creative, they oversee all creative aspects of the company.

Sara Huang started their educational career by getting their BA in Design from San Jose State University. After that, they went on to get their MA in Typo/Graphic Studies from the University of the Arts London.

They are on a team with Zhanna Zhalsanova - Head of Apparel Design, Daniela Deiana - Head of Accessories Design, and Shilpa Shah - Co-Founder & CXO. Their manager is Karla Gallardo, Co-Founder & CEO.
