Janet Sharer

Janet Sharer has extensive nursing experience spanning several decades, with a current role as a Chronic Disease Management Nurse at Community Volunteers in Medicine since 2009, focusing on pre-Diabetic and Diabetic patients. Janet's career includes positions as a Staff RN and Smoking Cessation Counselor, educating individuals on health risks associated with smoking cessation. Additionally, Janet serves as an RN, BSN with AREUFIT Health Services, Inc., and has worked as a Patient Navigator for private patients since 1992, facilitating care coordination. Janet's involvement in community initiatives includes founding the Mercy Suburban Hospital Auxiliary and serving as Community Outreach Director for Great Valley Community Outreach, addressing vital needs for underserved populations.
