Julie Roehrig Rusenko has a strong background in fundraising and development, particularly in the non-profit sector. Julie'smost recent role was as the Vice President of Development at Community Volunteers in Medicine, where they led fundraising efforts to raise over $4 million per year for the organization. Prior to that, Julie served as an Associate Vice President at United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, where they had various roles managing operations, donor communications, and volunteer engagement. Julie also held leadership positions at United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Associated United Ways. Julie began their career as an Assistant VP at United Way of Greater Richmond.
Julie Roehrig Rusenko holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Government & Business from the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Business Strategies for A Better World Specialization from the University of Pennsylvania via Coursera in May 2019.
Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM)
CVIM is a community-based, volunteer nonprofit organization providing quality, coordinated medical and dental care to low income, working people in the Chester County region without insurance, enabling them to continue to be contributing members of the community. The program is designed to provide services for those individuals whose income is at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty guidelines and are not eligible for Medical Assistance, Medicare, VA benefits or the Children’s Health Insurance Program. CVIM welcomes clients without discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, age, sexual orientation, handicap, or ability to pay for health care services.
