Melany Duval is an accomplished fundraising executive with extensive experience in philanthropy and development across multiple prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since January 2019, Melany has previously held significant roles such as Vice President of Development at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where Melany was instrumental in shaping strategies for global social engagement. Additionally, Melany contributed to a $1.5 billion fundraising campaign as Sr. Associate Dean at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and led development efforts at Children's Hospital Los Angeles as Vice President. Early career experience at Loyola Marymount University spanned various positions, including Campaign Director and Assistant Vice President, culminating in leadership roles that launched a record-breaking $350 million campaign. Melany holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Loyola Marymount University.
