Art De Maesschalck is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and business. Currently serving as an Inspiring Teacher at CVO GENT since September 2021, Art teaches English to a varied audience, drawing from a rich history in the corporate world. Prior to this, a role as Business Consultant and Advocate of Diversity at Give People Wings BV focused on market analysis within the FMCG and Retail Industry. Notable positions at Disney Consumer Products spanned over two decades, including Director for Health & Beauty across the EMEA region and Regional Director for Emerging Markets, where Art successfully expanded licensed businesses in diverse sectors. Earlier career experiences include significant roles at Walt Disney Records, Warner Music Benelux, Campina, and Seagram's Belgium, complemented by a Master's Degree in Oriental Philology from Ghent University and an MBA from Vlerick Business School.
