Celso Aranjo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Celso started their career in 1984 as a Signalman First Class in the US Navy, where they supervised visual communication between ships and handled sensitive materials. Celso also served as a Navy Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Counselor during this time. After leaving the Navy in 2004, Celso worked as a Correctional Officer in the New Mexico Department of Corrections until 2011.
In 2014, Celso joined Redflex Traffic Systems as a Tier I Technical Advisor and later worked with Freeman Built Contracting as an Assistant Construction Manager in 2015. In this role, they were responsible for developing project scopes and bid packets for property rehabilitation projects.
From 2015 to 2016, Celso held the position of Information Management Analyst at Conduent, where they contributed to information management processes. Celso then moved on to work as a Project Manager at PrePass and later at Connected Vehicle Optimization (CVO) in 2016.
Throughout their career, Celso has developed skills in project management, information management, construction management, and communication.
Celso Aranjo completed an Associate's Degree in Information Technology from ITT Technical Institute from 2011 to 2013. Celso then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Project Management from the same institution from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Celso obtained certifications such as Agile Hybrid Project Pro, Built Environment Technology and Innovation Pro, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. The PMP certification was obtained in September 2019, while the hybrid project and built environment certifications were obtained in July and August 2022, respectively. It is also worth noting that Celso has a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Project Management from ITT Technical Institute, although the exact time of completion is unknown.
