John Garris

John Garris has extensive work experience in engineering and construction. John began their career in 1992 at Koch Industries, where they held various project positions, including the role of Manager of Engineering, until 1999. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a Contract Project Manager at Goddard Public School Dist. In 2001, they joined Eby Construction Company as a Construction Manager until 2004. John then worked as a Project Manager at Koch Materials Company for a brief period before joining Flint Hills Resources in 2004 as the Manager of Project Management until 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as the Director of Engineering at Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP. In 2008, they joined CVR Energy, Inc. and served as the VP of Engineering and Construction until 2017, after which they became the Director of Engineering and Construction.

John Garris obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Applied Mechanics at the same institution from 1989 to 1991.
