Megan Elliott

Megan Elliott is an experienced public health professional currently serving as a Principal Researcher (Public Health) at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board since March 2023, focusing on population health research. Prior to this role, Megan worked as a Senior Public Health Practitioner at Public Health Wales, concentrating on Tobacco Control and Vaccinations and Immunisations. Megan has also held positions including Senior Research Assistant at PRIME Centre Wales, where leadership of research programmes and facilitation of social prescribing evaluations were key responsibilities, and Research Assistant at the University of South Wales. Earlier experiences include a health improvement placement at Virgin Care and a project officer role with Bath & North East Somerset Council. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Public Health from the University of South Wales and an MS in Health/Medical Psychology from the University of Bath.
