Iain Paterson

Iain Paterson is President of the Board of MRI Trading AG and CEO of MRI Group, the commodity marketing arm of CWT Group which engages in commodities trading of physical non-ferrous metals and bulk minerals. Iain joined MRI in 2012 and brings with him vast industry domain experience, keen business acumen and strong leadership skills. Prior to his current position, he was the CEO of MRI Trading AG responsible for risk management, general management and the leadership of the commodities trading team in Europe. Iain started working in the commodities market in 1978, with an emphasis on the non-ferrous sector. Before joining MRI, he held multiple leadership roles with, amongst others, LN Metals International and Trafigura. Iain graduated from Reading University, England with a Bachelor (Hons) degree in Agricultural Economics and Management.
