Scott Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning over two companies. Scott started their career in 1999 at Hertz Rent a Car, where they worked as a Senior Systems Specialist, responsible for IT functions in multiple Hertz divisions. Their role included managing, setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting server hardware, as well as desktop and laptop installations and migrations.
In 2008, Scott joined CWT, a global company, where they held various roles. Scott began as a Senior Technical Analyst, serving as the central point for implementing, administering, and maintaining Citrix desktop and application virtualization infrastructure. Scott also performed advanced issue analysis and resolution, as well as environment upgrades and maintenance.
In 2013, Scott became the NORAM Citrix Services Team Lead at CWT. In this role, they focused on scoping, planning, and executing Citrix-specific service and project requests. Scott also translated business requirements into technical designs and monitored server health, resource usage, user experience, and environment performance.
In 2015, Scott was promoted to Manager of IT Infrastructure & Operations at CWT. Scott managed a 15-member Global Engineering and Operations team, with a focus on a global Citrix CVAD environment. Scott drove the centralization of processes for Citrix environments globally and oversaw Level-2 and Level-3 operations.
Most recently, Scott served as the Director of IT - End User Technology at CWT. In this role, they had business ownership of various technologies and delivered desktops and applications to over 12,000 global CWT employees, contractors, and business partners. Scott was recognized as an expert in designing, developing, and delivering technology and communication solutions to meet challenging business demands.
