Keith Hight

Keith Hight is an experienced educator and theatre professional with a diverse background in teaching, directing, and technical production. Hight served as Technical Director at Campbell University from August 2006 to August 2009 and has been an Instructor at CWU, Inc since August 2009. Prior to these roles, Hight was an Associate Professor at Elizabeth City State University from August 2004 to May 2006, where coursework included Appreciation of Theatre, Stagecraft, and Beginning Acting. Hight created and developed a baccalaureate Theatre Degree program during this time. Additional experience includes serving as Technical Director at Paramount King Dominion in 2006, and as Lighting Designer at Olympic College from August 1995 to May 2004, where various productions were directed and curriculum developed. Hight holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and the Arts from Lesley College and an MFA in Theatre Pedagogies from Virginia Commonwealth University. The undergraduate degree was earned at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Dramatic Literature and Performance.
