John M. Lervik

John M. Lervik has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. John M. is currently serving as the Chairman of Omny since 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Cognite in 2017 and held the positions of Chief Strategy & Development Officer and CEO. John M. also founded Cxense in 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked at Microsoft as a Corporate Vice President in 2008 and at Fast Search & Transfer as the CEO and CTO from 1997 to 2008.

John M. Lervik obtained a PhD in Digital Signal Processing from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1988 and 1996.
