Dan Dreps is an IBM Distinguished Engineer in IBM Systems group. He is the technical lead for IBM's Interface development for Power and Z systems.
His role encompasses end to end system design beginning with circuit and clocking architectures, channel design inclusive of SI and RAS affects while focusing on lowest possible latency, power, area for On and Off module interfaces. He is an IBM Master Inventor, with over 230 patents. He received a B.S. degree from Michigan State University in Electrical Engineering.
