Salvatore S. has worked in the cybersecurity field since 2013. Salvatore began their career at Communication Valley Reply as an Information Security Analyst, where they gained a good knowledge of the main cybersecurity monitoring platforms. In 2016, they joined aizoOn Technology Consulting as a Computer Forensic Investigator and Cyber Security R&D Engineer, where they were part of the team that developed a network security monitoring platform called aramis. In 2019, Salvatore S. became the CIO, CSO and Co-founder of Doc.notch. Currently, they are the Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead and Senior Cyber Security Analyst at CY4GATE, where they work on the team that developed a SIEM solution for cyber security monitoring and cyber incident response called RTA, which is based on AI algorithms and big data technologies.

Salvatore S. obtained a BS in Computer Science from Università di Catania between 2003 and 2009. Salvatore then received a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Università di Pisa between 2009 and 2013. In 2021, they obtained certification in CYBER WARGAMING from NATO M&S COE. In 2015, they obtained a FireEye Junior Systems Engineer certification from FireEye, Inc. Lastly, they completed an II Level University Executive Master in Criminology and Cyber Security from University of Rome Tor Vergata between 2016 and 2018.
