Denis Marcela Gomez has worked in a variety of roles in the IT and project management fields since 2004. In 2004, they worked as a Web Developer at the Universidad de Manizales, where they analyzed, developed, and executed web applications in PHP and JAVA Script, managed technical support requests, and defined technical features and methodologies for virtual courses. In 2005, they worked as an Online Tutor at Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA), where they designed and implemented virtual courses using Moodle and Blackboard e-learning platforms. In 2011, they worked as an Information Technology Business Analyst at Intergrupo, where they collected requirements through analysis, specification, and validation of functional and non-functional needs. In 2012, they worked as an IT Project Manager at Tigo Colombia, where they managed a Digital Transformation project, coordinated multiple telecommunications, integration, and migration projects, and improved incident and help desk processes. In 2019, they worked as an Event Project Manager at EMG Concepts, where they planned and executed promotion events, headed a variety of project resources, and created pre- and post-event surveys. In 2020, they worked as a Project Manager at US Fresh, where they executed business strategies to ensure that all procured products meet the company's quality standards and specifications, supervised supplier selection processes and contract negotiation, and leaded continuous improvement of purchasing processes. In 2021, they worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Stressbar Systems International LLC, where they worked directly with project managers to help implement project goals, oversaw variable aspects of projects, and provided direct assistance to ensure timely project execution. Denis Marcela Gomez has a diverse educational background, beginning with a Systems and Telecommunications Engineer degree from Universidad de Manizales, which they obtained from 1999-2003.
