Shane Bowen

Shane Bowen is a Mid-Level Software Engineer at Cyara, beginning in January 2023, with a focus on NextGen Monitoring. In addition to this role, Shane has been the IT Administrator at Bowens Forge since June 2014, responsible for overseeing all IT-related tasks, including performance monitoring, employee scheduling, invoicing, and CAD design. Prior software engineering experience includes a position as a Junior Software Engineer at Spearline® from June 2020 to January 2023, where Shane contributed to a platform redesign using modern technologies and developed an API with Flask, Python, and SQLAlchemy. Earlier experience includes an internship at Spearline® in 2019, working on a Billing Analytics interface with CakePHP. Shane Bowen is pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Munster Technological University, with an anticipated completion in May 2026, following a Bachelor's degree in Software Development (Hons) obtained in September 2020.
