Michael Ramuta

Michael Ramuta has a diverse work experience. Michael began their career in 2011 as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they analyzed galaxy clusters using Excel, Mathematica, CIAO, and Python. Michael also worked as a Paper Grader and Host/Telescope Operator. In 2012, they took on the role of Trivia Host at Team Trivia, Inc. In 2014, they became a Pedicab Operator at Eco Pedicab, where they drove a pedicab on busy nights and weekends and showed people around the city of Providence. In 2013, they worked as an Account Manager and Account Associate at Working Planet Marketing Group. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at Reveel, where they designed a comprehensive Scala-based API for a mobile social networking app and built endpoints for comments, photos, interests, connections, profiles, and the ability to check-in to a location, along with comprehensive test coverage. Michael also took on a role as a Marketing Consultant at Pilsen Community Books. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Developer at One Design Company and as a Contract Web Developer at Blueye. Most recently, they have been working as a Mid-Level Software Engineer at DebtBook and as a Software Developer at Figment.

Michael Ramuta attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Astronomy-Physics. In 2015, they attended Dev Bootcamp to study Web Development. In December 2013, they obtained a certification from Google as a Google Adwords Certified.
