Job Summary:

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations, including AR, AP, and payroll processing. This role demands high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR):
    • Generate and issue invoices to clients.
    • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections.
    • Reconcile AR accounts and prepare reports for management.
  • Accounts Payable (AP):
    • Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy.
    • Prepare payment schedules and execute payments on time.
    • Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Payroll Processing:
    • Manage employee payroll, including calculating hours and deductions.
    • Ensure compliance with tax and legal requirements.
    • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare periodic reports.
  • General Accounting Tasks:
    • Assist in monthly and year-end financial reporting.

    • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.

    • Support internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in AR, AP, and payroll functions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel. Experience in accounting tools/software is preferred.
  • AU background is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
