Jeff Ellis

Jeff Ellis has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Jeff is currently the Head of Finance at Cybba, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to that, they were the VP of Finance at Tailwind from September 2022 to June 2023. Jeff also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Miniter Group from March 2022 to September 2022.

Before their roles at Cybba, Tailwind, and Miniter Group, Jeff held various positions at different companies. Jeff was the Director of Finance at RightHand Robotics, Inc from November 2020 to March 2022, where they led the finance and accounting team and successfully drove a $66 million Series C fundraise. Jeff also served as the Controller at RightHand Robotics, Inc from October 2019 to November 2020.

Jeff has also worked at AtScale as an Accounting & Finance Manager from January 2019 to October 2019, where they played a pivotal role in building systems and processes to support the company's growth.

Prior to AtScale, Jeff worked at Ultra Electronics Ocean Systems as a Proposal and Financial Analysis Manager from February 2018 to January 2019 and as a Business Finance Manager from May 2016 to February 2018. Jeff was responsible for revenue growth and management, as well as building pricing and proposal systems and procedures.

Earlier in their career, Jeff worked at Bluefin Robotics as a Senior Financial Analyst/Lead Accountant from September 2010 to May 2016, where they grew from a financial analyst to a leader in the finance and accounting organization. Jeff also worked at Textron Systems as a Financial Analyst II from January 2008 to September 2010 and at State Street as a Custody Fund Accountant/Mutual Fund Administrator from January 2006 to January 2008.

Jeff Ellis earned a High School Diploma from Boston College High School in 2001. Jeff went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from UMass Boston, graduating in 2005. Later, from 2015 to 2017, Jeff pursued further education at Auburn University Harbert College of Business and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
