Backend and Plugin Developer at Cybeats Technologies

Richard Estwick has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries and roles. Richard is currently working at Cybeats as a Backend and Plugin Developer, a position they took on in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cybeats as a Junior Embedded Developer from July 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Cybeats, Richard worked at Scryb Inc. as a Junior Embedded Developer from November 2021 to July 2022.

Richard also gained valuable experience as a Firmware Developer & Medical Device Regulations Researcher (Student Researcher) at Centennial College from January 2020 to November 2020. Richard'srole involved conducting research on Canadian Medical Device Regulations, tasks and services required for registering a medical device in Canada.

Furthermore, Richard served as a Research Assistant at the University of the West Indies: Cavehill from August 2018 to March 2019.

Through their various positions, Richard has honed their skills and knowledge in embedded development, firmware development, and medical device regulations research.

Richard Estwick completed their education at Centennial College, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology in 2019. Prior to that, they attended The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, where they earned a Bachelor's degree with a major in Electronics and a minor in Medical Electronics in 2018. In addition to their academic achievements, Richard obtained a certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI in August 2016.
