Christopher Berens

Christopher Berens has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Christopher began their career in 2000 at ViroMed as an IT Help Desk and Hardware Technician, where they were responsible for maintaining computer hardware and providing technical support for customer IT issues. In 2006, they moved to Minnesota Oncology as an IT Manager and HIPAA Compliance Officer, where they developed an IT staffing model and managed department initiatives. In 2012, they joined Dell Compellent as an IT Manager, managing the Copilot Support Engineer teams and maintaining operational efficiency. In 2013, they became the IT Client Systems Supervisor at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, where they supported the organization's technology plan and vision. In 2015, they were appointed as the ITSM Process Owner at MoneyGram International, driving ITIL best practice and process standardization. In 2018, they were promoted to IT Service Director at ServiceTec, where they drove organizational ITSM maturity and optimized the team footprint and structure. In 2021, they joined iMedia Brands, Inc. as a Sr. Manager of IT Service Management. Most recently, in 2022, they became the VP of Managed Services at Cyber Advisors.

Christopher Berens obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering from St. Cloud State University between 1995 and 1999. Christopher also holds a certification in ITIL 2001 (ITIL V3) Foundations from Thought Rock, which they obtained in December 2016.
