Tyler Jongewaard, CISSP, GCDA, GCFE, has a wide range of work experience. In 2012, they worked as a NOC Technician at Chips Computer Services, where they were responsible for on-site support for servers, routers, switches, desktop, laptop, hardware, software, imaging, firmware, cabling, and multiple network infrastructure devices. In 2013, they took on the role of Network Integrations Project Manager at UnitedHealth Group, where they managed networking projects with a variety of different end states. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as the SOC Chief at Protocol 46 Cybersecurity, supervising and managing all day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center. In 2020, they were appointed Director of Defensive Cyber Operations at U.S. Army Cyber Command, where they managed all DCO platform capabilities for Army Cyber (ARCYBER). Since 2022, they have been working as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst/vCISO at Cyber Advisors. Tyler has also served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard since 2007, in roles such as Cyber Protection Team/DCO-E CND Manager, Battalion S6 - Communications Officer, and Supply Management Officer.
Tyler Jongewaard's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 2006 to 2009, and prior to that, they attended University of Wisconsin-River Falls from 2004 to 2006.
