Ron de Leos has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network engineering. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Network Engineer/Administrator at Computer Solutions GSD. From 2000 to 2002, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer at PCA Technologies, LLC. In 2002, they joined Network Business Solutions, Inc as a Senior Network Consultant. From 2003 to 2011, they worked at the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center, where they held the position of Cyber Incident Response & Intrusion Course Manager/Instructor. During this time, they managed instructor personnel, projects/tasks, and scheduling, as well as developed and delivered computer investigation training. In 2011, they joined CSC as the US Security Operations Center (SOC) Operations Manager, where they effectively oversaw all daily operations and improved performance. Since 2016, they have been the Director of Government Cybersecurity Services at Cyber Engineering Services, where they lead the company's government cybersecurity initiatives.
Ron de Leos' education history begins in 1990 when they enrolled at West Virginia Wesleyan College. Ron remained there until 1994 but did not complete a specific degree or major. In 1996, they attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County for a year, focusing on Information System Management. Moving forward to 2008, Ron studied at Western Governors University for three years, specializing in Information Technology with an emphasis on Security.
