James Jacobs

James Jacobs, M.P.A., currently serves as the Director of Policy and Partnerships at Cyber Florida at USF, a position held since September 2023, after previously serving as Associate Director of Policy and Partnerships. Prior experience includes roles as Government Affairs Program Manager at Tampa Bay Water and Legislative Assistant for the Florida House of Representatives, where responsibilities encompassed legislative research, communication management, and constituent services. James also worked as a Congressional Staffer for the U.S. House of Representatives, focusing on public relations and community outreach, and as West-Central Florida External Affairs Manager for the Florida Department of Financial Services, where strategic relationships with various industries were cultivated. James holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Florida, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration at the University of South Florida.
