Shimon Becker

Co-Founder & CEO at Cyber Observer

Shimon Becker is currently the VP of Observer Integration at XM Cyber, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder & CEO of Cyber Observer from 2011 to 2022, where they were responsible for leading the product roadmap and managing and overseeing all the department activities and project goals. From 2011 to 2022, Shimon was also a Lecturer at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, teaching Information Technology Management Systems, Innovation, and Strategy Planning. From 2000 to 2011, Shimon held a variety of positions at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, including Head of Information Technology Software Development Division, Head of Information Technology Infrastructure Division, and Head of Information Technology Management Development Team. In these roles, they were responsible for managing legacy IT software development, leading a cross-functional team of over 150 software and technical engineers and system admin, and leading IT Management plan (methodologies, architecture and implementation).

Shimon Becker has a Bsc in Computer Science from Champlain College and a Practical Engineer in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University. Shimon also holds a certification in a management system for controlling a layout of physical and logical resources from USPTO, which they obtained in November 2021.
