With extensive experience as a Chief Financial Officer in various companies such as Cybera Inc., Katipult, WaterSMART Solutions Ltd., CMC Research Institutes, Beakerhead, Aqua-Pure Ventures Inc., and Imaging Dynamics, their expertise in finance and accounting is highly regarded. Karim holds a BBA Honors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.

In Alberta, students and researchers depend on CyberaNet every day for their research and education internet traffic – although they may not know it. Alberta’s Research and Education Network, CyberaNet, runs seamlessly behind the scenes. In addition to running this network, Cybera coordinates pilot projects and services that put this network to use, to help Alberta innovate.
