David El

David El is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience in threat hunting and malware research. Currently serving as a DFIR & Threat Hunting Researcher and Senior Malware Researcher at CyberArk since September 2022, David has led the identification and analysis of emerging threat actors while contributing to key detection policies. Prior to this, David was a Team Lead and Product Manager at Mimecast, where responsibilities included managing an internal lab that significantly reduced false detection rates. David also held roles as a Cyber Security Researcher and Detection Engineer at Mimecast, and as a Cyber Security Engineer and Tech Lead at the Israel Defense Forces, where notable contributions included leading innovative projects and investigations into high-profile hacking groups. David has presented at multiple international conferences and published influential work in the field.
