Anand GP

Anand GP has a diverse range of work experience in the field of IT security. Anand has worked for various companies and held different roles throughout their career.

Anand's most recent position is with Cyberbit as a Customer Success Manager, starting in March 2023.

Prior to that, Anand worked for Gurutwa Infotech as a SOC Lead from November 2017 to March 2023. In this role, they were responsible for building a Security Operation Center from scratch and managing a team of thirteen.

Before joining Gurutwa Infotech, Anand was the Lead Security Engineer at YEMP from August 2015 to October 2017. Anand played a crucial role in implementing the SIEM solution and conducting a proof of concept for IBM QRadar. Anand also worked on various security initiatives, such as drafting security policies, providing training, and coordinating with external VAPT teams.

Anand's earlier experiences include working as a Technical Consultant at Ingram Micro from March 2014 to June 2015, where they engaged with customers and vendors to implement solutions. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Support Specialist at McAfee from September 2010 to March 2014 and as a Technical Specialist at IBM from March 2010 to September 2010.

Overall, Anand has a strong background in IT security, with expertise in areas such as Security Operations, SIEM implementation, and IT architecture design.

Anand GP attended Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering in Bangalore from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Anand GP obtained the following: Certified Incident Handler (ECIH) from EC-Council in June 2020, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in March 2019, and IBM Certified Associate Analyst - Security QRadar SIEM V7.2.6 from IBM in July 2017.
