Xujun Zhao

Xujun Zhao has worked in various roles since 2003. Xujun began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at China FAW group corporation R&D center in 2003. In 2009, they moved to Northwestern University as a Graduate Research Assistant. In 2014, they became a Postdoctoral Appointee at Argonne National Laboratory. In 2016, they joined Siemens Digital Industries Software as an Advanced Software Engineer. In 2021, they changed roles to become a Senior Simulation Software Engineer at VulcanForms Inc. Most recently, in 2023, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Cyberdontics.

Xujun Zhao's education history includes four degrees. Xujun received a Bachelor degree in Engineering Mechanics from Xi'an Jiaotong University from 1999 to 2003. Xujun then earned a MEng in Solid Mechanics from Tsinghua University from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they obtained a MASc in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia from 2007 to 2009. Lastly, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University from 2009 to 2014.
