Shameka Williams

Shameka Williams has worked in the IT industry since 2009. Shameka began their career as an Internship Trainee at Lomax Software (China) Software Systems Co., Ltd. in 2009. Shameka then moved to a Business Development Consultant role at the same company in 2012. In 2014, they joined CyberDuo as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining the Semantic Data Manager (SDM). Shameka also developed and maintained a validator and was responsible for the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) process to move data from the data warehouse to the graph database (Berkeley DB). In 2018, they were promoted to IT Director at CyberDuo.

Shameka Williams earned their Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Washington between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles between 2003 and 2007. In addition, they hold several certifications, including Data Science with Databases and SQL from Coursera in April 2013, Java SE 6 Programmer from Oracle in August 2012, and Oracle Certified Professional Data Base SQL from Oracle in May 2012.
