Baidyanath Kumar

Baidyanath Kumar currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd. since December 2022 and is an Executive Member of the CyberEdBoard Community since May 2023. Prior experience includes over eleven years at Infosys, where Baidyanath Kumar held the position of Lead Cybersecurity Consultant, focusing on CISO responsibilities for Income Tax Projects, including CPC-TDS and e-Filing. Key responsibilities involved the implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standards, along with risk assessment, treatment, and security operations. Baidyanath Kumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and graduated with a Higher Secondary Certificate from Kendriya Vidyalaya.
