Kirsty Hammond

Kirsty Hammond has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kirsty started their career as a Managing Director at ITDynamix from February 1998 to May 2000. Following that, they worked at Smile Educational Toys as a Sales Rep/Education Specialist from January 1996 to June 2000, focusing on private sales and education of educational toys in a therapeutic environment. From July 1996 to June 2000, Kirsty worked at St. Vincent School for the Deaf as a Speech Therapist and Audiologist, providing speech therapy and audiology services, as well as parent education. Kirsty then served as the Preschool Director at The Tree Of Life Church from March 2008 to March 2010. Kirsty was also a Member of the Board at Greenridge HOA from June 2010 to June 2013. In their role as a Sales representative at Performance Bicycle from April 2017 to February 2018, they gained insights into merchandising, customer service, and health and fitness. Kirsty served as the Director of Education at Autodidact Academy from July 2006 to the present. Kirsty joined Friendly Educators as a Member of the Board in June 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Business Manager at CyberHive Security, starting from August 2018.

Kirsty Hammond began their education in 1987 at The Glen High School, where they obtained their High School Certificate in 1991. Following this, they attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 1992 to 1995, earning a B.Log in Speech Therapy and Audiology. Kirsty later pursued higher education at Stellenbosch University from 1999 to 2000, where they completed a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) with a focus on Second Language Acquisition.
