Christopher Quimbaya

Christopher Quimbaya has worked in the field of cyber security since 2010. From 2010 to 2017, they worked as a Section Manager, Team Supervisor, and Signal Support System Specialist for the US Army. In 2017, they joined Presidio as a Network Operations Center Technician. In 2019, they joined SAIC as a Cyber Security Analyst and Senior Service Desk Analyst. In 2021, they began working for Booz Allen Hamilton as an Information System Security Officer and for DISA as a CND Analyst (Army Reservist). Currently, they are employed at Cybernet Systems Corporation as a Cyber Security Engineer. Their roles have included developing policies and procedures, performing vulnerability testing and risk analyses, conducting threat and malware analysis, providing detailed analysis reports, and monitoring the security environment.

Christopher Quimbaya has a comprehensive educational history. From 2017 to 2020, they attended Valencia College and obtained an Associate of Science - AS in Cyber Security & Digital Forensic. Christopher then went on to Western Governors University, where they achieved a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance in 2021. In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained numerous certifications in the field, including Top Secret - Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance from the United States Department of Defense in 2020, CompTIA A+ ce Certification from CompTIA in 2020, CompTIA Security+ ce from CompTIA in 2016, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in 2020, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist - CSIS from CompTIA in 2021, CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in 2021, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2 in 2021, and Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) from (ISC)2 in 2021.
