Raphael Pecoraro

Raphael Pecoraro has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT support. Raphael started their career as an IT Technician at AUE Staffing Inc. in 2016 and later worked as a Field Service Technician II at Health First in 2018. After that, Raphael worked as an IT Support Technician at AUE Staffing Inc. and as a Barista at Barnes & Noble, Inc.

In 2020, Raphael joined the University of Central Florida as an Information Technology Support Specialist. Raphael then moved on to work as an IT Specialist at J.P. Donovan Construction, where they designed and implemented an IT framework and developed security policies.

Further progressing in their career, Raphael became a Cyber Security Engineer at Cybernet Systems Corporation in 2021 and served in that role until 2022. Raphael then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Consultant for a year, from 2022 to 2023.

Raphael's most recent position is as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Cybernet Systems Corporation, which they started in 2023.

In 2020, Raphael enrolled in Western Governors University again, this time pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. Raphael completed their studies in 2021.

In 2021, Raphael obtained the Check Point Cloud Security Warrior certification from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd.

In 2022, Raphael further enhanced their skill set by obtaining the Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, the Azure Active Directory: Basics certification from LinkedIn, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².

Looking ahead, Raphael plans to pursue a Doctorate degree at Purdue University, starting in 2023.
