Besfort Hashani

Besfort Hashani's work experience includes a Cyber Security Analyst position at CyberNow Labs from 2022 to present. In this role, they monitored and conducted log analysis on Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and IBM QRadar, analyzed malware infections and phishing schemes utilizing CrowdStrike and SentinelOne Event Detection & Response (EDR) systems and ProofPoint (TAP & TRAP), operated vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, NetSparker, and Armis, and performed analysis of Packet Capture (PCAP) files, domains/URLs, and emails to determine indicator legitimacy using WireShark and OSINT tools such as VirusTotal, AnyRun, and MX Toolbox. Prior to this, Besfort Hashani held a Civil Engineer position at METAL KOSOVA from 2021.

Besfort Hashani obtained a High School Diploma from "Hasan Nahi" Gymnasium in 2017. Besfort then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Universiteti i Prishtinës "Hasan Prishtina" from 2017 to 2020. Besfort has also obtained numerous certifications from a variety of institutions, including Cybrary, Google, IBM, Armis, LinkedIn, Splunk, Innovation Centre Kosovo, IPKO Foundation, RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), VentureUP, CompTIA, and Fortinet, between 2019 and 2022.
