Burhan Aydın

Burhan Aydın has been working at CyberNow Labs since 2023, where they are currently employed as a Cyber Security Analyst. Theirresponsibilities include conducting core information security activities such as SIEM, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Education & Awareness, Malware Detection, Incident Response, Network Monitoring, and Log Analysis. Burhan also monitors and analyzes SIEM logs and alerts through QRadar-Splunk and identifies security incidents for remediation and investigation. Additionally, they recognize potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises thorough reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information from security tools and technologies to develop IDS/IPS, Firewall and SIEM rules.

Prior to this, Burhan Aydın worked at Cengiz Holding A.Ş. from 2018 to 2023, where they held the roles of Assistant Project Coordinator and Finance Specialist.

Burhan Aydın attended Kocaeli ali fuat başgil sosyal bilimler lisesi from 2008 to 2013 and Boğaziçi University from 2013 to 2018, where they earned a Lisans Derecesi in İşletme. Burhan has also obtained several certifications, including IBM Hands-on Shell Scripting (obtained in October 2022 from IBM), Google IT Support (obtained in September 2022 from Google), IBM Cybersecurity Analyst (obtained in August 2022 from IBM), 100 Days of Code: The Complete Python Pro Bootcamp for 2022 (obtained in January 2022 from Udemy), CompTIA Security+ ce Certification (obtained in January 2023 from CompTIA), and (ISC)² Candidate (obtained in December 2022 from (ISC)²).
