Hajoo Chung

Hajoo Chung has worked in the software engineering and mechanical engineering fields for over 15 years. In 2021, they began working as a Junior Front-End Developer for CyberOwl. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Software Developer for School Of Code. From 2011 to 2020, they worked as a Sr. Piping Stress Engineer for SK E&C, where their responsibilities included Thermal Flexibility and Stress Analysis for Oil and Gas Refinery Plant Piping System, Structural Stability and Safety Evaluation for Steel Supports, AIV/FIV Evaluation in Piping System, Reviewed Contract Specification, Reviewed and Approved Vendor Print, Negotiated technical issues with clients and vendors, and being familiar with P&ID's and PFD's. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Student Researcher for the Structural Integrity and Reliability Lab. From 2005 to 2009, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer for Samsung Heavy Industries.

Hajoo Chung attended Korea University from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering. Hajoo then returned to Korea University from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering. In 2013, they obtained the Fundamental Engineer certification from the NCEES.
