Russell Kempley

Russell Kempley has over 15 years of experience in the cyber security field. Russell began their career in 2004 as a Graduate Engineer at Snell & Wilcox. In 2005, they moved to BAE Systems, where they held the positions of Head of Cyber Technical Services, Detica Treidan Solution Architect, and Security Consultant and Software Developer. In 2016, they became Director Strategic Cyber Intelligence at Prudential Assurance. Currently, they are the Chief Security Officer at CyberOwl, where they are responsible for driving security excellence in products and customer delivery programmes.

Russell Kempley obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Information and Computer Engineering from the University of Cambridge in 2004. In March 2020, they earned a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
