Tarek Elsawaf is the Chief Analytics Officer at CyberPolicy. Tarek has over fifteen years of experience in the finance and compliance industries. Prior to joining CyberPolicy, Tarek was the Vice President of Finance and SOX Compliance at Bankrate Insurance. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's internal IT controls, including testing, documenting, and liaising with external auditors. Tarek also led the corporate effort to be compliant with internal control regulations (SOX 404), and helped identify, document, and test all key controls of the company.

In addition to their compliance work, Tarek also served as a key analytical resource for various departments within Bankrate Insurance. Tarek provided analytical support to departments including marketing and sales, in order to maximize profit margins and fulfill client needs. Tarek also implemented the concept of ROI-based marketing on the individual consumer level through complex database queries, which helped identify and eliminate unprofitable marketing campaigns. As a result of Tarek's work, the company had its first ever profitable year in 2007.

Tarek's experience also includes assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports and invoices for both cost and revenue. Tarek has prepared detailed monthly revenue reports at the client level, including lead and click counts, as well as reports to support client invoices. Tarek has also calculated monthly marketing cost reports for major sources of traffic acquisition for up to 80 different partners totaling over $2 million dollars

Tarek Elsawaf has a MBA from the University of Miami and a Bachelor's in Finance and Economics from the University of Miami.
