Evangelos Spatharas

Evangelos Spatharas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and network management. Currently serving as a Platform & SIEM Expert at CyberProof since October 2021, Evangelos previously held multiple roles at GÉANT from November 2013 to August 2021, including Head of Security and Security Engineer, where responsibilities included managing advanced network services, designing security policies, and collaborating with international security teams. Evangelos also gained foundational knowledge as a Webpage, Network and System Administrator at Computer.GR and completed a Master of Science in Internet, Computer and Systems Security from the University of Bradford. Prior educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Informatics and Communication from the Technological Educational Institution of Serres.
